Zinc features a combination of strength, UV resistance and a bluish grey patina which make it a better alternative for metal gutter systems. Zinc is naturally corrosion resistant and easily adaptable for creating a multitude of gutter profiles. *In terms of greenhouse emissions, the manufacturing processes of zinc require the lowest levels of energy emissions of any metal used in the building industry which makes this is a green product. |

What is Paint Grip Steel?
We offer a full line of paint grip steel gutters in both " K " and Half Round styles. Why use paint grip steel versus galvanized steel? By a thermal diffusion process, paint grip steel has been treated to produce a Zn-Fe alloy coating which enhances corrosion resistance after painting. Many architects and engineers specifiy paint grip steel in construction for this reason.
We recommend Paint grip steel over galvanized steel if the gutter system is to be finished. Paintability is superior.
