Our Shipping Method For Gutter & Downpipe Is Freight Only.
All gutter and downpipe must be shipped in protective crates by common carrier or freight as the required shipping method. Due to length restrictions, we can not ship gutter and downspout by UPS or FedEx. When you place your order online, your order is put in a "Pending Approval" status. eGutter® will email you the exact shipping and crating cost which must be approved by you through phone or email. Why choose aluminum gutters?
Most residential and commercial rain gutters are fabricated from .027" or .032" aluminum with baked on enamel finish. Aluminum is an ideal metal choice for the majority of residential gutters because it will not rust and has a longer shelf life than the traditional steel made gutters.
Let eGutter® be your source for K-Style, Half Round, Box, or other custom aluminum gutter profiles. We fabricate most our 5" and 6" aluminum gutters in .027" and.032" aluminum. Hot Dipped Zinc Coated Steel
Reminiscent of a bygone era, galvanized gutters are making a big comeback for homeowners wanting a distinctive rustic look. For homes with steel metal roofs, galvanized gutters are the best choice to minimize galvanic corrosion over other metals. Galvanized gutters will typically have a shelf life of 15-30 years. What is Paint Grip Steel?
We offer a full line of paint grip steel gutters in both " K " and Half Round styles. Why use paint grip steel versus galvanized steel? By a thermal diffusion process, paint grip steel has been treated to produce a Zn-Fe alloy coating which enhances corrosion resistance after painting. Many architects and engineers specifiy paint grip steel in construction for this reason.
We recommend Paint grip steel over galvanized steel if the gutter system is to be finished. Paintability is superior.

| In recent years, more architects are increasingly recommending zinc as a preferred material for roof drainage systems. Zinc features a combination of strength, UV resistance and a bluish grey patina which make it a better alternative for metal gutter systems. Zinc is naturally corrosion resistant and easily adaptable for creating a multitude of gutter profiles. *In terms of greenhouse emissions, the manufacturing processes of zinc require the lowest levels of energy emissions of any metal used in the building industry which makes this is a green product. |
